About Sputnik Games

Sputnik Games was created in summer of 2000 to focus on creating web game independently. It's been 17 years of game development under this name. I started out making web games in Macromedia Director and Java and when the iPhone came out I moved everything to making games for that platform. Now in 2017 the mobile games industry is filled with corporate apps with big budgets. Because of this I'm no longer able to sustain myself making games just for iOS.

This year, 2017, I'm using Retrostalgic to journal on my journey to make 100 games. This will be my last 100 games that I will create. After I reach 100 (or burn out before that ;) I'm going to retire from game development.

I'd like to leave something to game development community before I stop coding. I'm going to broadcasted live on Twitch.tv the development of all the games. Visit Retrostalgic for more information.

About Mark Andrade

I've been a game developer for nearly 25 years. I specialize in small quick to play mini games.

I've helped launch Disney's Daily Blast by creating launch titles and nearly one hundred games in total during my time there. I've also had the privilege to design and create games for Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, and various other large brands.

For the past eight years I've been independently publishing my own games for iOS and had a few successful releases that made the top 100; Fish Food Frenzy (over 9 million downloads), Cowabunga, Aerolite, Soccer Kickoff and Poker Solitaire Free.

I'm always available for freelance game programming work.
